The Génome Québec, Lady Davis Institute Clinical Proteomics Facility

The Lady Davis Institute for Medical Research,  thanks to co-funding from the Génome
Québec Centre, has  recently  acquired SELDI-TOF technology. The  platform, located
at the Segal Cancer Centre in Montreal, complements the proteomics services offered
by  the  McGill University  and  Génome Québec  Innovation  Centre.  Researchers can
have access to the technology as a not-for profit fee service.

SELDI-TOF is a versatile proteomics research tool that combines retentate chromatography
and time-of-flight mass spectrometry to facilitate the analysis of complex sample  mixtures.
It was designed for high-throughput proteomic profiling and biomarker discovery using very
small sample volumes.
